A Gurudwara in Sacramento County, California, was shot at by two individuals. The victims’ conditions are serious for both. According to a news agency, the shooting was a shootout between two males who knew one another and was not a hate crime, according to Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

A fight between three individuals turned violent and resulted in shooting.

Amar Gandhi, a spokesman for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, stated that “suspect 2” was down when “suspect 1” shot suspect 2’s companion. Then suspect 2 shot suspect 1 before escaping.

“It appeared that everyone involved in that fight knew one another. This appears to have its roots in something that occurred much earlier, he continued.

According to a police official, one of the suspects is characterised as an Indian man, and the other potential shooter is currently being treated in a hospital.

According to the Gun Violence Archive database, there were an estimated 44,000 gun-related fatalities in the United States last year, with half of them being suicides and the other half occurring in homicide, mishaps, and self-defense.

President Joe Biden has signed an executive order that aims to increase the number of background checks carried out during gun sales in response to the rise in gun crime in the nation.
