Massive Fire At Satputra Bhawan In Bhopal, Doused After 14 Hours Of Operation

After a roughly 14-hour lengthy effort involving the Indian Air Force, Indian Army, and local authorities, a large fire at Satpura Bhawan in Bhopal, which contains offices of numerous government departments, was put out.

No injuries were sustained since the building was quickly evacuated.

According to sources, the regional office of the Tribal Welfare Department is located on the third level of the government building, where the fire erupted at around 4 o’clock. The fire quickly spread to three additional floors from the third story. There were several explosions as the raging inferno touched air conditioners and several gas cylinders.

According to sources, the health department office, whose records were lost, was among the offices that took the brunt of the fire.

According to an official, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah about the incident and asked for help putting it out.

According to Harinarayan Chari Mishra, the police commissioner for Bhopal, the fire was primarily caused by a short circuit, but a team has been assembled to look into this.

“The flames have been put out, but there is a cloud of smoke in several locations, raising the threat of a later fire, although crews are working. There is now no demand for IAF helicopters. A team of experts has been assembled to investigate, however it has primarily emerged that a short circuit is to blame for the fire, according to Harinarayan Chari Mishra.
