Now that the beast has been subdued, Stree 2 appears to have given up at the box office for the first time. Shraddha Kapoor & Rajkummar Rao’s horror comedy ultimately suffered a decrease of approximately 76% than the previous day that happened to be a Sunday!
Early estimates place the earnings of Amar Kaushik’s movie on September 30, the 47th day and 7th Monday, at between 0.5 and 0.6 crore. The film erupted on the 7th Sunday with 2.5 crore pouring in but surrendered on the 7th Monday with a big fall.
With the addition of the 47th day’s earnings, the movie might reach a roughly 616.1 crore total. However, even the 60 lakh that came on the 7th Monday is not a lesser sum considering the rivalry from Devara and others.
Stree 2 was unable to surpass Pathaan, Uri, and Kantara’s collection for day 47 on the 47th day. It did, however, exceed Prabhas’s KGF: Chapter 2, Gadar 2, Kalki 2898 AD, and others.
Despite having a budget of 60 crore, the movie has made over 616 crore in net revenue in India, resulting in a 556 crore profit and a 926.67% return on investment.
