The teaser for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released on Wednesday, and to the surprise of the franchise’s followers, Madhuri Dixit was finally revealed by the film’s directors. In addition to featuring Kartik Aaryan as Rooh Baba, the movie also features Vidya Balan, who played Manjulika in the first series movie, back in a leading role.
Kartik receives an invitation to a royal palace in the teaser, where the family is trying to figure out the horrific mystery that plagues their home. In the teaser, Triptii Dimri plays Kartik Aryan’s romantic interest, and Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra return to their comedic roles, which inject humour into the horror film. Anees Bazmee pledged before the trailer was released to capitalise on the previous popularity of the franchise and push the boundaries of the horror-comedy genre with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a project very close to my heart. We have pushed the boundaries of the horror-comedy genre to bring something fresh and entertaining,” Bazmee shared with news agency.
Even with a leg injury, Bazmee showed that he was committed to the project. “I could shoot the movie while standing on one leg. Just a week or ten days prior to the start of filming, the injury happened. In order to achieve the declared Diwali release date, Bazmee chose to go ahead with the scheduled shooting even though physicians advised him to rest for four to six months. In a statement released by his team, he had stated, “We would have missed the date if I had delayed shooting.”
On November 1, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Murad Khetani, is scheduled to be released for Diwali. In the movie, Vidya Balan plays the beloved Manjulika from the 2007 smash hit, capping off her eagerly awaited comeback to the franchise.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to battle against Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated Singham at the box office. once more with an ensemble cast that includes Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Ajay Devgn.
