Addressing the a function of the second National Youth Parliament Festival Narendra Modi rolled out an attack on dynastic politicians and all the dynastic political parties saying that those who rise due to their dynasties have no respect as well as fear of law as they think their previous generations were not accountable for any corruption so neither they will. He said so while asking youngsters to take entry into the politics because it is necessary.
Though he did not name any party in particular but he pointed out mainly the opposition parties including Congress, which ar but he has in the past often hit out at opposition parties, including the Congress, which are running by their families.
However, He also said “ In politics those who have been winning elections on the basis of their dynasties are reducing in numbers but the dynastic politics is not completely finished”.
He also alleged those dynasties for being the reason behind the political and social corruption in the country
Despite the people of country are now voting and supporting the legacy and the performance and this corruption has become a burden on their heads, the dynastic politics has not been fully eradicated, Modi said.
The dynasties have not been fully eradicated from the politics because there are still those politicians whose conduct, ideas and goals are all aimed at saving their families in politics. The Prime Minister said that the dynastic politics only fulfills the sentiment of ‘me and my family’ and not of the ‘nation first’. While saying that he also quoted “Dynastic politics gives rise to a new form of dictatorship and also burdens the country with incompetence”.
Adding Modi however said that things are changing with time as people in politics were thought to be associated with corruption, violence, loot but now it’s not considered in this way and also any youngster joining politics was thought to be going astray, but things have changed now.
Encouraging youngsters to join politics in his virtual address, the Prime Minister said the “poison of dynastic politics will continue unless youngsters join in”.
The field of politics need youngsters like any other sector to invest their thoughts, ideas, energy and dreams into it, referring to dynastic politics he said this can be changed only by spreading awareness and the young generation joining politics.
Modi also said that his government has been organising and promoting youth related events to prepare youth in this.
Expressing his views on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in his address, he also paid tributes and said his ideals have inspired people, including during the freedom struggle, of every generation and asked youngster to follow them.
