After the clash between the police and farmers now a clash broke out between the locals and the farmers on Friday at the Singhu border, two days after the Republic Day violence.
The group of locals carried out their demonstrations near the barricades places just few km away from the actual protesting site of the Singhu border. The locals were claiming their area to be cleared by the farmers.
Despite the heavy security deployed in the area the group did not stop, they carried on with their pelting stones and breaking tents and barricades.
Farmers also started throwing back the stones on the locals in their retaliation. However, the police had end up with the lathicharge and firing tear gas shells on both the locals and the farmers to bring the situation under control.
Now, after the protests all entry gates and roads leading to the protesting area of the Singhu border are closed by the Delhi Police and is under surveillance.
