The mass performer for Allu Arjun smashes records! The movie broke all records on Day 1 and became the biggest Indian opener ever. In just two days, it made over Rs 400 crore worldwide. Sukumar’s Telugu action drama is the follow-up to Pushpa: The Rise, which came out in 2021.
With a two-day total of Rs 265 crore net (India), Pushpa 2 has reportedly broken the Rs 400 crore gross mark globally. The extraordinary collections capture the fervour and enthusiasm for Allu Arjun’s performance as Pushpa Raj.
After shattering multiple records on Day 1, the movie brought in an estimated Rs 90.1 crore net on Day 2 of its release in India, according to news agencies.
Pushpa 2 overtook Rajamouli’s RRR to clinch the top spot at the Indian box office on its first day of release. It performed better than box office hits like Baahubali 2 and KGF 2, and it even surpassed Jawan, the biggest Hindi release of the previous year.
On Day 2, Pushpa 2, which was made available in several languages, had high occupancy in every version. While the overall occupancy rate for the film was 51.65 percent in Hindi, it was 53 percent in Telugu. Resuming his role as the powerful SP, Fahadh Faasil Rashmika Mandanna makes a comeback as Srivalli, while Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat joins. The inclusion of Jagapathi Babu to the outstanding ensemble cast adds new intrigue.
Pushpa 2 is anticipated to dominate the box office due to an extended weekend and the absence of a significant release in the near future. Pushpa 2: The Rule, which features music by T-Series, has raised the standard for subsequent releases.
