Numerous train stations in Rajasthan, notably the Hanumangarh junction, have received bomb threats. A letter allegedly from Jaish-e-Mohammad was given to the Hanumangarh station commander by an anonymous individual, threatening to destroy important stations such as Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Kota, Bundi, Udaipur, and Jaipur.
Security forces, comprising the BSF, GRP, and RPF, thoroughly searched the Hanumangarh intersection in response to the threat. An exhaustive search turned up nothing untoward.
Additional Superintendent of Police Pyarelal Meena reached the station for security checks. The source of the letter is being investigated, and a case has been filed against an unnamed individual.
