A day after his birthday actor Aamir Khan on Sunday paid gratitude to his fans for all their love and support. Celebrating his 56th birthday the actor took to his social media handles announcing that he was quitting social media calling it a way to show off.
Although, he suggested his fans to follow the official handle of his production house, Aamir Khan Productions, for getting updates about him, his projects and movies.
“Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before,” wrote Aamir in his post.
He added, “In addition, AKP has created its official channel! So future updates on me and my films can be found there. Here’s the official handle! @akppl_official.” He signed it off in his usual style saying, “Lots of love, always a.”
The actors last release ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ was a critical and commercial disappoint and currently waiting for his upcoming release of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which is a remake of Hollywood movie Forrest Gump, 1994. Kareen Kapoor Khan is in lead role along with Aamir.
