Reacting to the West Bengal Chief Minister’s dharna the BJP state president Dilip Ghosh on April 13 said that she is the one responsible for the killings in Cooch Behar. He also said “she is protesting against Supreme Court and the Constitution of India” adding “I don’t believe that she (Mamata Banerjee) will follow the law”.
The Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sat on dharna to protests against the Election Commission’s decision to ban her from campaigning for 24 hours starting from 8 pm on Monday to 8 pm on Tuesday.
She called the EC’s decision totally otally “undemocratic and unconstitutional”.
The EC had already issued so many notices to the CM earlier over her alleged remarks against the central forces but she did not mend her ways so it finally resorted to ban her.
