Good News for Consumers: LPG Cylinder Price Reduced by ₹30 from Today

With effect from July 1, state-backed oil marketing companies cut the cost of 19kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹30 per cylinder. As a result, a 19 kilogramme cylinder in Delhi will now cost ₹1,646 instead of ₹1,676. A 19 kg cylinder in Mumbai costs ₹1,598 while in Kolkata it costs ₹1,756.

The costs of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders won’t be altered. In Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai, the retail prices of domestic cooking cylinders would remain at ₹803, ₹829, ₹818.50, and ₹802.50.

Every month on the first, state-owned oil and gas companies (OMCs) including Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd adjust their cooking gas rates by factoring in the foreign currency rate and the average price of benchmark international fuel.
