India Calls Upon Pakistan’s Actions As Ridiculous Just Before The Meetings

India described Pakistan’s move against terrorists as ridiculous just before the review of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and also called upon all the International Communities to hold Pakistan for supporting cross border terrorism and feeding terrorists.

As commander of Lashkar-e-taiba and mastermind of Mumbai Attacks was imprisoned for 15 years by Pakistan anti- terrorism court just before the Financial Action Task Force review.

The government said this on the basis of the timing of actions taken by Pakistan just before the meetings to convey the sense of adherence ahead of the Asia Pacific Joint Group (APJG) meeting and latter FATF meeting in February.

“It has become Pakistan’s normal behavior of doing such ridiculous actions just before important events and meetings” said the spokesperson of ministry of external affairs Anurag Srivastava.

“United Nation has prohibited Pakistani entities and designated terrorists act as proxies for Pakistani establishment to fulfil its anti-India agenda. It is now for the international community to hold Pakistan accountable for such activities and to ensure that it takes credible action against terror groups, terror infrastructure and individuals,” added Anurag Shrivastava.

The Paris-based Financial Action Task Force placed Pakistan on the Grey List in June 2018 and asked Islamabad to create an action plan and  implement that to curb money laundering cases and terror financing by the end of 2019 but due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the deadline was extended later.
