Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey’s ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ Trailer Reveals a Gripping Whodunit

In Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Rani (Taapsee Pannu) and Rishu (Vikrant Massey) return and continue their turbulent journey. This sequel, which is helmed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, aims to go even further into the lives of Taapsee and Vikrant’s star-crossed lovers. The trailer for the sequel was released by the developers on Thursday. In the recently released teaser, we see Rani and Rishu trying to put their difficult past behind them, only to get caught up in a new set of problems. Their attempts to live a calm existence are dashed when an enigmatic man named Abhimanyu (Sunny Kaushal) shows up.

Officer Mritunjay, also known as Montu Chacha (Jimmy Shergill), is an unrelenting police officer with a personal grudge who is determined to expose their network of deceit, betrayal, and falsehoods, further complicating matters. The pair turns to their old, twisted methods to stay together as law enforcement closes in, doubting who they can really trust in such a dangerous world. The inexorable question still stands: How far will they go for love as the mystery is revealed?

Taapsee Pannu played Rani in the first segment of the movie Haseen Dilruba, while Vikrant Massey played her husband Rishabh and Harshvardhan Rane played her boyfriend, Neel Tripathi. In this episode, Rani weds Rishabh, a man from a tiny town who fell in love with her right away. She feels their marriage lacks passion, though. When the character played by Harshvardhan Rane arrives, their relationship takes a different turn. Rani and Rishabh work together to carry out a scheme that was motivated by her favourite murder mystery book.

August 9 is the release date for the follow-up. Jimmy Shergill plays a crucial part in it as well.
