Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta in the major characters in Veer Zaara have now added another feather to their hats as the movie has officially joined the exclusive Rs 100 crore club. The makers of Veer Zaara re-released the film on September 13, 2024, following its 2004 theatrical debut. With a contribution of Rs 37 crore from international markets, Veer Zaara made Rs 98 crore in total revenue after its initial release in 2004. The movie has already had multiple rereleases and brought in Rs 2.5 crore between 2005 and 2023.
It made Rs 30 lakh in February of this year, and as of right now, the romantic drama film has made Rs 1.80 crore. As of right now, Veer Zaara’s overall gross receipts are at Rs 102.60 crore, according to a recent report by trade analyst and cinema critic Taran Adarsh.
In addition to SRK and Preity, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Rani Mukerji, Divya Dutta, and Manoj Bajpayee are also featured in the love drama. The film Veer Zaara tells the enduring tale of Veer Pratap Singh, an Indian Air Force fighter, and Zaara Haayat Khan, a Pakistani woman.

In the movie, Veer becomes entangled in a fictitious case of espionage by Pakistani local agencies after successfully returning Zaara to her home country. He spends over two decades in jail and comes out with the help of a lady Pakistani lawyer.
